A Day in the Life at Camp Adventurers
9:00-9:30 AM
Parents can drop off campers at any point during this time frame. As soon as campers arrive, they can join in a game of kickball.
Endless Activities
Campers receive awards from the previous day and listening to a briefing on that day's activities.
9:30-10:00 AM
During this time, campers participate in their shorter house meeting of the day.
10:00-10:45 AM
10:45-11:25 AM
Campers attend their first class of the day.
11:25 AM - 12:00 PM
Campers participate in a hike. In addition to walking thorugh the woods, campers sing songs, read poetry, and pick wild black raspberries.
12:00-12:40 PM
Campers eat lunch and can purchase items from the shop or work on badges if they have extra time.
12:40-1:10 PM
Campers get to choose from a host of activities during this time. They can visit the shop, work on badges with the help of counselors, play sports, and Pioneers can attend a special "intense" class.
1:10-1:45 PM
We call this part of the day "presentations". This is when campers can complete badge requirements such as "tell the camp about your favorite saint" or "perform a skit you wrote with 1-4 other people". Once the campers are finished, the campers who have completed all the requirements for a badge are awarded their badges.
1:45-2:35 PM
Campers participate in their longer house meeting of the day. Campers usually play games or work on badges during this longer chunk of time.
2:35-3:10 PM
Campers attend their second class of the day.
3:10-3:45 PM
Campers take turns leading during the camp Rosary.
3:45-4:15 PM
Parents can pick up their campers at any point during this time. Campers can play sports, visit the shop, or work on badges while waiting for their ride home.
