About Us

It was May 2020- Gemma and Olivia were hanging around, happy to be together, but disappointed at the summer ahead. Most of the upcoming summer's activities had been canceled, including camp.

The girls decided to solve the summer camp problem by planning their own, complete with arts and crafts, hikes, badges, and more. Along the way, they realized that being canceled for a year wasn't the only problem with most summer camps.

Over the next two years, the girls built a camp that prioritized faith, freedom, friendship, and adventure. Campers nine years old or older ("Pioneers") get to choose how they spend most of their time, only being required to attend house meetings, presentations, lunch, and the rosary. All campers, no matter their age, are allowed to pursue whatever interests them, whether that's earning lots of badges or just spending quality time with their friends.

Most importantly, Camp Adventurers is dedicated to the Catholic faith. Prayer is a regular part of the day, ending with the Rosary just before pick-up. Although each house is different, campers will discuss saints, prayers, virtues, and/or practical Christian living on a daily basis.
